I've got maybe half a skein or so of that yarn leftover from a scarf I knitted ages ago if you'd like a little extra yardage for edging or suchlike - just let me know, I can easily drop it in the mail to you! :)

It looks like side to side from the way the sleeves are attached, but I don't know much about side to side construction, so I'm not sure.
But how can you be so productive? How fast do you knit? I am amazed by all you've produced lately. Not to mention all the design creativity. I have a lot of design ideas but I usually take the easy way out and knit someone else's pattern. I have to get into your habit.

That looks GREAT!! (I am possibly biased because I'm working with the same stitch pattern! To be posted to the design blog as soon as I can get myself to take pictures - and hoping that saying it will force me to get off my duff) Sorry, sidetrack. I do love the stitch pattern, and the vertical nature - I really enjoy stitch patterns used in different ways! And the yarn, of course. Is it a cardi or closed? Very excited to see more :)

Seems like you are making this one side to side.
1 purl row and 4 stockinette

Is this what you are referring to?

Did you begin at the right arm's edge and make your way left? Or is it more complicated than that?
