Playing catch up again! I read this post a bit ago, but I’m not sure I commented to let you know how much I enjoyed sharing Florence’s adventures - Great stuff, and it’s just perfect that you were able to get in contact with her family, what a perfect ending to the story.

I like your idea of a knitting collection, very cool. I hope that you are feeling better. Duty knitting sometimes makes the knitting less of a pleasure, though you’ll be pleased with your end results. Nice wrap up on Florence’s story and awesome that you tracked down her family. Such a wonderful conclusion to it all.

You’ll be done knitting the socks in no time and then you can move onto the “collection”.
